DS4P -> Reality/LuxRender to 1500S/p

Background is the Sunny2 IBL from Skies of Terra. Primary light is Lux's sun lightsource (no Lux sky, since the IBL provides the sky).

I haven't checked out Skies of Terra before, but will now that I've seen this. Have you used it straight with Daz Studio? How well does it work? Does it still provide the background, or is that only with LuxRender?

I don't render straight within Studio; I always export to LuxRender. So I can't say what the results would be like in Studio itself. But DT always includes multiple installers with his IBL products for use with different platforms. I only install the Reality/LuxRender version, which includes HDR .exr files for LuxRender plus low-res jpegs for visualization in Studio to facilitate setting the Y rotation of the IBL. But the "What's Included" page for Skies of Terra says it includes a version for use in Studio with UberEnvironment.

Those are the Malaik Wings available at RDNA. They look cool, but Epic Wings available at DAZ3D are much, MUCH easier to work with from a posing perspective. I'm also still not happy with the texture sets available for the Malaik Wings -- they end up looking very flat and painted (despite having both bump and displacement maps). I spent a lot of time fiddling with them again for this scene vs. the last time I used them (for this same angel character), and I still think they leave a lot to be desired texture wise...

That's what I thought they were - I did ponder getting them, but then I have so many sets of wings already, sounds like I was (for once!) right :)
