Star Queen's Arrival

I started building this scene on St. Patricks Day, so the initial element was to experiment with making a green-skinned girl by playing with the diffuse colour after applying the face & skin (in this case, Devon) to Genesis. I had also picked up the starfield skin for Genesis at half off during DAZ's March Madness sale, and so the idea of the Star Queen's Arrival came about and then I added one more alien girl to fill out her escort, again utilizing the diffuse colour trick.

The Star Queen's outfit is the A3 Dark Mage applied to Genesis using the auto-fit process with the new Gen3 shapes for Genesis from DAZ. The queen's pose is pretty restricted because the metalwork cowl of the outfit is linked to the arms, and breaks apart badly as her arms are moved away from the generic 'T pose'. Even with the slight raising and twisting of her arms used here, you can already see problems with the cowl. The starfield used for the cape was included with the starfield skin package.

The escorts have pasties for tops, since auto-fit conversion of V4 clothing tends to come out really ugly around the breasts and it was easier to simply avoid the bad-looking conversions. And who doesn't like topless alien women?

The environment is Stonemason's "The Arc". All the lighting in the scene comes from changing all the materials in the scene named "LED" or "light" into meshlights in Lux. No additional light sources were added. Based on how the material was originally named, the Lux light presets for red and blue LEDs were applied, except for the main ceiling light, which is white light (6500K).
